Help Yari With Medical Expenses

Yari is the sunshine of local Lawrence cafe 1900 Barker. She is a gentle and witty soul, with a deep love of black cats and a penchant for whimsy. On Sunday January 9, Yari slipped on an extremely icy driveway and broke two, possibly three bones in her ankle. Yari has minimal health coverage, and her plan does not cover broken bones. Yari will require a cast and six weeks of recovery time, at minimum. Because of the nature of the break, surgery and a longer recovery time may be necessary.

We are looking to raise $2,500 to cover Yari's living expenses for two months and an additional $12,500 to cover the medical bills. We will provide updates as more information about Yari's care becomes available.
